A native of the rural Midwest, currently living in the mountains near Santa Cruz, CA, I love fields, forests, meadows and waterways, and winding roads. Using various materials (oil, watercolor, graphite, collage, handmade books, boxes) I explore the relationships of people and their landscapes, both within and without. Memories, dreams, and the mysterious aspects of life inspire me, and I am fascinated with old things—the worn, and the rusty.
